Use | methyl 3-oxocyclopenecarboxylate can be used as a pharmaceutical synthesis intermediate, it can be prepared from 3-oxocyclopentanecarboxylic acid as a raw material, and can be used for the synthesis of 3-hydroxycyclopentanecarboxylate, and further can be used for the synthesis of a series of heterocyclic compounds with glutaminase inhibitory activity. methyl 3-oxocyclopenecarboxylate can be used as a pharmaceutical synthesis intermediate, and can be used for the synthesis of 3-hydroxycyclopentane formate. |
preparation method | methyl 3-oxocyclopenecarboxylate: 3-oxocyclopentane carboxylic acid (5.0g, to a solution of 39.1mmol) in methanol (50ml) was added dropwise a catalytic amount of concentrated sulfuric acid (10 drops). After a reaction time of 1 hour at 80 °c, the reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature. The solvent was removed by concentration under reduced pressure, a small amount of water was added to the resulting residue, the pH was adjusted to 8 with a saturated aqueous sodium hydrogen carbonate solution, and then extracted with ethyl acetate (30ml x 3 times). The organic phases were combined, dried, and concentrated to give the title compound methyl 3-oxocyclopentanoate (4.5g,81%). |
